After being cleaned by the 5-gallon external barrel brushing machine, the barrels are conveyed by the bottle loading machine to the barrel loading station of the rinsing section. Through photoelectric detection and counting, eight barrels are fed in. The pushing cylinder of the bottle loading machine pushes the barrels onto the overturning frame, which flips the barrels into a horizontal position. After the overturning cylinder reaches its position, the loading cylinder pushes the barrels into the barrel holder, where the plastic barrels are positioned.

As the chain rotates upward by 90°, the barrels change from a horizontal position to an inverted position, with the barrel mouth facing downward, and enter the washing station. The bottom high-pressure spray nozzle rises, and the high-pressure pump starts to perform 360-degree internal cleaning of the barrels. Through the action of high-pressure water, the inside of the barrels is thoroughly cleaned, with the washing pressure reaching 3–4 MPa.

After the cleaning is completed, the overturning mechanism transfers the barrels onto the conveyor belt, which then conveys them to the next process. The entire machine is controlled by a PLC and is equipped with an independent electrical control cabinet.
